Celebrari used to do invitations, RSVPs, seating and check-in. We archived almost all of it. Here is why, and the test we use before adding anything back.
The Celebrari journal
What we are building, and why.
Every product is a pile of decisions, and the reasoning is usually the part nobody publishes. These are ours: what we cut, what we refuse to build, and what we owe the people who trust us with a moment that matters.

Our product lives in the two worst network conditions on the consumer internet. That decided the infrastructure before we had a choice.

Why the Common Sky is free
The free public sky is not a trial, a demo or a lead magnet. It is the front door of the product, and it is the same room.
No signup, no app, no password. It is the most important decision in the product, and it costs us things we have permanently given up.
Three prices, paid once, no auto-renewal. And the one recurring idea we would consider, which is deliberately not in the checkout.
Seven days, thirty days or a year, stated on the package card and shown to every guest before they submit. The alternative is a promise nobody can keep.
A list is a database. A sky is a place. That difference is the most expensive decision in the product and the one we would defend hardest.
The cap is the same for everyone and you cannot pay to make it longer. It is what makes recording approachable and the collection openable.
The recipient did not sign up to be a moderator. Anything that reaches them, we allowed through — so the bar has to be high.
We archived most of the public product and then kept all of it alive. A retired feature is our decision to make; the memories inside it are not.
Give one moment its own sky.
Invite people to leave a message, a photo or a voice note with one simple link. No guest app and no guest account. The Common Sky stays free for everyone.
